Creative & Brand Assurance (CBA)

Overall Responsibilities

The Creative & Brand Assurance (CBA) Team plays a pivotal role in working together with the Business Unit Heads to achieve the goals and objectives set by the Company. He/she will work towards the goals set in the creative strategy and direction by his/her Business Unit, and continue to establish excellent relationships with our clients.

Main Responsibilities

Brand Assurance and Creative
  • Establish strong working relationships with licensee to facilitate Brand Assurance & Creative requests, issues, and needs.
  • Work with all team members (licensing, sales, marketing) within the office and SEA daily.
  • Fulfill BA & Creative functions for Principals/IPs as per brand guidelines.
  • Support in all aspects of BA & Creative jobs.
  • Assist in research and development of branding/style guide/creative projects OR working/providing creative brief to design agency etc.
Brand Assurance/Licensee Management and Compliance (with regards to use of style guide & product development)
  • Ensures high compliance achieve by licensees at each stage (concept, pre-prod to final).
  • Ensures a timely communication flow of information from Principals to licensee and vice versa.
  • Conduct BA workshops and technical assistance to licensees.
  • Ensure that licensees optimize the use of each style guide/trend program.
  • Work with sales and ensure that licensees optimize effort to develop/launch product per contract.
Product Development
  • Possess sound knowledge of product development process, new technology, seasons, trends & colors.
  • Arrange initial product development meetings with key licensees to discuss creative and innovative branding ideas/styling/applications where appropriate.
Creative Projects
  • Support sales personnel with appropriate product/premium concept for pitching purpose.
  • Support licensees with product concepts or final artwork.
  • Conceptualize impactful Advertising & Marketing materials to support product launch, marketing or retail promotions, store openings etc.
Others
  • Manage and disseminate all creative materials.
  • Materials include style guides, trend programs, other creative materials, etc.
  • Oversee maintenance & security of inventory, crosscheck controls & record keeping on dissemination of proprietary materials.
  • Work on style guide program management – communicate with licensees regarding new and/or discontinued materials.

Job Requirements

  • A University Degree/Diploma, preferably design or arts
  • Experience in licensing/advertising agency or related design field
  • Strong experience with graphics packages (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.)
  • Knowledge of After Effect & 3D Program are advantages
  • Able to communicate/write fluently in English
  • Takes Initiative, able to work both independently and as a good team worker, strong attention to detail and time management/organization skills
