On its 13th year, Collectibles Unlimited launched the annual Philippine Toycon at the Newport Mall, Resorts World Manila last Saturday, May 31, 2014. Showing a teaser of what to see in the upcoming Toycon Event, the media, guests and mall visitors were treated to a variety of toy displays, selling areas, panel discussions, cosplay shows, and this year's highlight… the Batman 75th Anniversary!
As co-sponsor, Pacific Licensing Studio officially launched the celebration of 75 years of Batman in the Philippines and shared how this will be celebrated across the country in the next few months, starting with the Toycon. The mini-celebration also showcased towering images of Batman through the years, rare collections of 12-inch Batman action figures, Batmobiles, Comics, Stamps and stickers. Fans dressed as Batman, Batgirl, Robin and Nightwing were also at the event to celebrate with the rest of the crowd.
The 13th Philippine Toycon will be held at SM Megamall Megatrade Halls 1,2 and 3 on June 20 to 22, 2014.
