We are proud to announce that Hello Kitty 50th Anniversary: Celebration of Friendship has been shortlisted as a finalist for Best Experiential or Location-Based Initiative at the Licensing International Excellence Awards 2025. Winners will be revealed on May 19 at the Licensing Expo in Las Vegas.
In celebration of Hello Kitty’s milestone 50th anniversary, House of Illumination, in collaboration with Pacific Licensing Studio and Sanrio Southeast Asia, presented a groundbreaking exhibition at Central World Bangkok. Spanning over 2,300 square meters, the immersive experience featured eight interactive zones enhanced by digital technology, exclusive merchandise, themed photo spots, and Hello Kitty-inspired food offerings.
To complement the event, the Sanrio Characters: Funtastic Exhibition was also launched, showcasing popular characters such as Kuromi, My Melody, and Hapidanbui through engaging performances and creative activities.
This nomination recognizes the success of a truly memorable celebration that brought the world of Hello Kitty to life for fans across generations.
