CHINA: Licensing Expo China 2025

01 Aug 2025

Pacific Licensing Studio made its debut at the 2025 Licensing Expo at Shanghai's National Exhibition and Convention Center (NECC). It had been a momentous occasion as we showcased our iconic IP portfolio, including The Metropolitan Museum of Art, The Smurfs, Hallmark and Doorobear, in our first LEC appearance.

The PLS booth became a vibrant meeting point, attracting significant interest from both domestic and international brands eager to explore licensing opportunities. We were delighted to engage with potential partners and discuss tailored solutions to help achieve their business goals.

Leveraging our strategic Singapore hub, we emphasized our comprehensive licensing network that spans Asia. This network is central to our mission of empowering Chinese brands to "Chuhai" and facilitating the successful localization of international IPs within the Chinese market.

We highlighted innovative approaches to licensing, such as The Metropolitan Museum of Art's expansion into new commercial arenas through art licensing, and The Smurfs' refreshing brand evolution that blends classic charm with modern trends and a commitment to sustainability.

As a bi-directional bridge between China and Asia, PLS remains committed to driving collaborative success across the region. We sincerely thank all visitors and look forward to future collaborations!
